The Council Café

The primary purpose of the Council Café is that seniors have a place to socialize while enjoying a hot or cold beverage, a meal, or snacks, at reasonable prices. 

The Council Café is staffed by volunteers of The Kanata Seniors Council Inc., for the benefit of all area seniors, their friends, and families, not just for members of the Kanata Seniors Council or the Kanata Seniors’ Centre.

We are now serving hot meals from 11:30 am and 1:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

We will continue to serve hot and cold Beverages, Sandwiches, Soups, and Desserts during the hours the Café is open.

Please note: 

Beverages can be removed from the Café however, food must still be consumed in the Cafe or taken out of the building.

New Café Hours (Sept 1st):

• Open week days from 9:00 am till 2:30 pm.

• We are closed on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month as our kitchen is in use by Diners Club..
