The Centre
The Kanata Seniors’ Centre is owned and operated by the City of Ottawa. The Centre provides facilities and programs for seniors in Kanata.


Activities are things to do that are available on an ongoing basis, usually daily, weekly, and/or monthly. Centre membership is $32.03/year and is required if you wish to participate in the Centre’s activities. Memberships are valid at all 4 Seniors Centres in the City: Kanata Seniors Centre, Nepean Seniors Centre, Churchill Seniors Centre and the Heron Road Seniors Centre.
Memberships and renewals can be arranged at the Kanata Seniors Centre’s Front Desk. To continue participating in any centre’s activities, memberships must be renewed annually.

Centre Location:
The Kanata Seniors’ Centre is located beside the Mlacak Centre and Beaverbrook Branch Library.
You can enter the Kanata Seniors’ Centre through its main doors (West side of the John Mlacak Centre). We also have a convenient drop-off spot directly in front of the main entrance. There is a parking lot on the west side of the Centre with handicap spaces available.
