As a Senior, you’re probably always looking for things to. If so, this site is your one-stop spot in Kanata for information on activities, events, and other things to do to keep your mind and body active and involved.
This service is provided by the Kanata Senior’s Council, a not-for-profit organization, working in close cooperation with the City of Ottawa’s Kanata Seniors’ Centre.

Is looking for several directors to serve on their board.

Completed forms must be returned no later than 4:00 pm on Friday May 17, 2019 to the Kanata Seniors’ Centre Front Desk, attention of the Kanata Seniors Council or by Email to: email@example.com.
The Kanata Seniors Council is accepting nominations for the
Frank Valentine Volunteer Award
that will be presented at our AGM on June 17, 2019.
The Award is named for Frank Valentine, who was a tireless advocate for seniors’ issues in the Kanata region for many years. He was the instigator behind the formation of the Kanata Seniors Council in 1996.
The award is to be given to a volunteer who:
is an adult, or couple, 55 years or older, who has provided outstanding leadership to this community, focusing on senior needs
who has consistently improved the quality of life of seniors in our community over a wide range of activities
who has contributed as a volunteer on an ongoing strong and consistent basis, over an extended period of time, to ensure the empowerment of services and continuing enjoyment of the seniors that are provided by the Kanata Seniors Council and Kanata Seniors’ Centre.
